C. Benjamin Strasser received a B.A. in Psychology from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. He received his J.D. at the Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center in Fort Lauderdale in 2004. Mr. Strasser was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2004, and was admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida and to the U.S. Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals in 2005. He is a member of the American Bar Association, The Palm Beach County Bar Association, the Dade County Bar Association, and the Broward County Bar Association. He is also a member of the Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute.
Mr. Strasser’s early professional experience includes clerking assignments for the Honorable Larry Klein of the Fourth District Court of Appeal, and at the firm of McIntosh, Sawran, Peltz & Cartaya, P.A. in West Palm Beach. He has served as an Associate Attorney for the firm of Horr, Novak & Skipp, P.A. in Miami, and prior to joining Rubinton & Laufer, he was an Associate Attorney at Allen, Kopet & Associates PLLC, in Ft. Lauderdale. Mr. Strasser has handled federal and state maritime cases involving personal injury to passengers, crewmembers, longshoremen, and harbor workers, as well as other cargo claims. He has also handled a large caseload of cases involving premises liability, product liability, coverage disputes, and auto liability.
